OUR MISSION

PDRF’s mission is to accelerate progress against parasitic and neglected tropical diseases by improving how knowledge, expertise, funding, technology, and public attention move across the field.

We believe meaningful progress requires more than isolated research activity or awareness alone. It requires stronger alignment between scientific discovery, clinical practice, diagnostic capability, therapeutic innovation, public health implementation, and long-term investment.

PDRF is being developed to support, fund, and eventually help initiate research, diagnostic, and therapeutic development efforts focused on parasitic and neglected tropical diseases. The foundation also seeks to collaborate with researchers, clinicians, innovators, institutions, and strategic partners working to advance serious solutions in under-recognized disease areas.

Our work is centered on four priorities:

Research
Supporting, funding, and elevating research efforts focused on parasitic and neglected tropical diseases.

Diagnostics
Advancing attention to the tools, technologies, and infrastructure needed to identify disease more effectively.

Therapeutics
Supporting long-term development of improved treatment strategies, emerging therapeutic approaches, and resistance-focused solutions.

Collaboration
Building pathways between medicine, science, biotechnology, philanthropy, public health, and institutional partners.

PDRF’s long-term goal is to become a credible platform for coordination, funding, development, and support in disease areas that require deeper institutional focus, stronger partnerships, and more durable pathways for progress.
