BOARD & ADVISORY DEVELOPMENT
PDRF is currently developing its future Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Network.
As the foundation grows, PDRF intends to build a multidisciplinary advisory structure that reflects the complexity of parasitic and neglected tropical disease work. The organization seeks to establish relationships with experienced professionals across research, medicine, diagnostics, biotechnology, public health, philanthropy, finance, nonprofit leadership, and related scientific fields.
The goal of the Board and Advisory Network will be to provide strategic guidance, scientific credibility, institutional perspective, and responsible oversight as PDRF develops future research, diagnostic, therapeutic, educational, and partnership initiatives.
Advisory Priorities
PDRF’s future advisory structure is expected to help guide work across several areas:
Scientific Direction
Helping identify important research questions, neglected gaps, and areas where additional focus may be warranted.
Diagnostic Innovation
Supporting strategic discussion around diagnostic tools, imaging technologies, laboratory methods, and infrastructure needs.
Therapeutic Development
Providing perspective on treatment limitations, resistance-related challenges, emerging approaches, and long-term development opportunities.
Public Health Strategy
Helping frame parasitic and neglected tropical diseases within broader health systems, policy, surveillance, implementation, and global health contexts.
Partnership Development
Supporting responsible collaboration with researchers, clinicians, institutions, industry partners, funders, and nonprofit organizations.
Governance and Integrity
Helping ensure that PDRF develops carefully, ethically, transparently, and in alignment with its charitable, scientific, and educational purposes.
Current Status
Board member and advisor profiles will be added as appointments are formalized.
Additional information regarding future board members, advisors, advisory priorities, and organizational partnerships will be announced as the foundation evolves.
